Who We’re Looking for: Finance & Administration Manager
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Manager, Finance & Administration is a key member of the management team whose responsibilities include managing finances and administration to support the CHF’s strategic plan. This role is responsible for the financial operations of the Foundation and oversees the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets.

We anticipate the successful candidate will have strong financial acumen and political acuity and be operationally minded. A demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, as well as valuing compassion, respect, choice, collaboration, and accountability, will be essential. The experience we are looking for is;
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, management or equivalent. Ideally recognized accounting designation (CPA) or working towards CPA designation.
Five (5) years of previous experience in for-profit or non-profit organizations.
Experience of working within a governance board model and understanding of nonprofit financial regulations and compliance
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Superior Excel skills are required.
Strong writer with the ability to produce clear, concise, and tailored reports and progress documents for multiple audiences
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

This is a remote-based role with a requirement to attend monthly board meetings, be present at CHF events held in Canmore and be available for in-person meetings at times. The hiring range for this position is $70,000 CAD, commensurate with your experience.
