Updated Endoscopy Equipment for Canmore General Hospital

The Canmore Hospital Foundation has just kicked off a large-scale capital campaign with a goal of $440,000.00. This equipment will help our healthcare providers achieve their ultimate goal of helping more patients.

Endoscopy procedures are crucial for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, including serious gastrointestinal diseases and cancers. However, the growing demand for these critical diagnostic procedures cannot be met with outdated equipment.

With your help, state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment will be purchased, allowing our surgical staff to increase the number of scopes performed annually from 1,300 to over 2,000. As Canmore's population surged and surgical demand rose, Canmore General Hospital faced an urgent need for updated surgical equipment. Since its establishment in 1984, key areas like the surgical suites have not evolved to their full potential, leaving gaps in resources and capabilities. With the addition of new surgeons and the increasing demand for surgeries, it became imperative to upgrade our equipment to meet modern standards.
