Fund Development Manager

Location: Canmore, AB

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 annually, Health Benefits

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a passionate fundraiser who thrives on building donor relationships and driving impactful campaigns? The Canmore Hospital Foundation is seeking a Fund Development Manager to lead our fundraising campaigns and initiatives, secure financial support, and steward our valued donors. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on healthcare in our community!

What You’ll Do

Fundraising Strategy – Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan to meet targets.

Donor Relations – Build meaningful relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.

Campaign & Grant Management – Oversee fundraising campaigns and secure grants to support foundation initiatives.

Data & Reporting – Maintain accurate donor records, track fundraising performance, and report impact to leadership and funders.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, business admin, communications, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or grant writing (non-profit experience preferred).

• Proven track record of meeting fundraising targets and managing donor programs.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills to engage donors and stakeholders.

• Experience with fundraising software and donor management systems.

• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, grant writing, and sponsorship development.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events as needed.

Program & Events Manager

Location: Canmore, AB

Are you passionate about leading signature programs and events that make an impact? The Canmore Hospital Foundation is looking for a Program & Events Manager to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of hallmark initiatives that support our mission. If you thrive in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment and love engaging with donors, hospital partners, and community stakeholders, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

Program & Event Development – Design and execute signature programs and fundraising events that align with the foundation’s mission.

Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital partners, community organizations, and donors.

Reporting & Evaluation – Track key performance indicators, measure impact, and report outcomes to leadership and funders.

Budget Management – Develop and manage program and event budgets.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, business administration, arts, communications, or equivalent experience.

3–5 years of experience in program management, event planning, or fundraising (non-profit experience preferred). Consideration may be made for candidates with less experience.

• Experience working with volunteers and committees in a collaborative environment.

• Proven ability to manage budgets and reporting requirements.

 Skills & Attributes:

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Excellent relationship-building abilities with donors, stakeholders, and community members.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for donor engagement and reporting.

• Comfort working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events.
